Jazmin was born and raised in Tri-Cities, WA. She received her Associates in Applied Sciences from Spokane Falls Community College, where she graduated as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in 2021.

Jazmin's clinical experiences cover acute care, mental health, pediatrics, and skilled nursing, while her most recent professional experience covered inpatient psychiatric care. Jazmin serves as a board member for the SFCC Occupational Therapy Assistant program, where she is proud to share her knowledge and experiences with colleagues and classrooms alike.

Jazmin's inspiration for pursuing a career in OT comes from a familial experience in which a loved one rehabilitated to a point of maximum independence despite months of ICU recovery following a severe spinal cord injury. Jazmin focuses on getting to know her patients and identifying the roles that matter most to them in order for them to thrive in their daily lives.

In her spare time Jazmin enjoys camping, family gatherings, horticulture, playing volleyball, and snowboarding.
