Lindsey Sommers, PA-C
Originally from Western Washington, Lindsey now calls Spokane her home. She graduated from Whitworth University with a degree in Health Science, and grew her interest in medicine while working as an EMT for Deer Park Ambulance and as a medical assistant in orthopedics and integrative medicine. Her studies took her to the University of Colorado, where she earned her Physician Assistant degree with extra training in pediatrics and rural medicine.
After graduating, she was excited to move back to Spokane, and she spent the first three years of her PA career working in primary care and palliative care in a variety of adult family homes, skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. She developed a compassion for working with the elderly and medically-complex, with a focus on improving quality of life and patient education. Lindsey is excited to be a part of Spine Team, where she hopes to help hurting patients get back to living a life they enjoy.
Lindsey lives in Spokane with her husband and two cats. She enjoys going on outdoor adventures, spending time with her nieces, and playing indoor soccer.
