Kim Dotson, PA-C

Kim’s career in medicine began in 1989 when she started as a volunteer EMT with Spokane Ambulance. Her desire to learn more, led her to pursue additional education; she completed the paramedic program at Spokane Community College in 1992. She worked as a paramedic in Spokane for eight years before she was accepted to The University of Washington MEDEX Northwest Physician Assistant Training Program.

Upon completion of her Physician Assistant studies in 2002, Kim’s heart for the medically underserved took her into rural medicine and correctional medicine for her first ten years as a primary care physician assistant. The following eight years she practiced medicine in an urgent care setting before joining Spine Team Spokane in June of 2020.
Kim’s faith led her to Ethiopia on medical missions in both 2015 and 2017, and she loves to share her experiences there!

Kim casually competes in endurance sports, and has completed several marathons, half marathons, Ironman, half Ironman and a Spartan race.
She also enjoys a part time career in Real Estate, and in her spare time she is writing a book. She loves photography and travel.
